This privacy policy describes how the SBPE companion app handles your information. We collect only what is needed to run the event experience and to keep the app working well.
Some features let you sign in through Firebase Authentication. If you choose to sign in, we process the credentials associated with your chosen sign-in method (for example, your email address) to identify you within the app. You can use much of the app without an account.
If you allow notifications, we use Firebase Cloud Messaging to send you updates about the seminar (schedule changes, announcements). This relies on a device notification token. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
With your consent, we use Google Firebase to keep the app reliable:
The app asks for your consent before collecting this data, and you can change your choice later. Firebase's handling of data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
We use the information above only to operate the app, deliver seminar updates, and improve the experience. We do not sell your personal data.
Account data, notification tokens, and diagnostic data are processed by Google Firebase under industry-standard security practices.
The app is intended for seminar attendees and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
